Pork export dropped in 4.5 times
In the first quarter of 2016 Ukraine exported only 0.9 ths t of pork, which is in 4.5 times less than the similar figures of the previous year.

Honey export slowed down
By results of the first quarter of 2016, Ukrainian export of honey dropped down by 11% to 7 ths t (14.8 mln USD) comparing with the same period in 2015. In value terms the reduction occurred on 23% (4.4 mln USD).

In the first quarter of 2016, Ukraine exported 3.3 ths t of apples totally amounted in 702 ths USD, which is almost 50 times more than for the same period of 2015 (68 t – up to 35 ths USD).

Agrarians are reporting about high levels of corruption in the profile state agencies
According to survey conducted by the experts of Association "Ukrainian Agribusiness Club” in March 2016 – the level of corruption in government regulatory services is still remaining at high level. Agrarians named the most corrupt authorities: The State Service of Geodesy, Cartography and Cadaster in Ukraine, State Automobile Inspection of Ukraine and State Fiscal Service of Ukraine. The newly created State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection showed the most significant reductions of corruption.

Progress rate in export of agricultural commodities have speeded down
According to the State Fiscal Service, the export of Ukrainian agricultural products in the first quarter of 2016 amounted almost in 3.3 bln USD that is 4.2% less than for the same period of previous year (-146 mln USD). However, the share of agroindustrial sector in the overall structure of export has increased from 37% up to 43%.

EU countries have fully exhausted duty-free quota for export of poultry meat into Ukraine
Since the entry into force of the DCFTA economic part with the European Union, i.e. January 1, 2016, as of April 5, EU countries have completely exhausted the duty-free quota for export of poultry meat into Ukraine and 67% of the quota for sugar.

Production of spreads has been declined up to 34%
In January - February this year, Ukraine has produced 5.04 ths t of spreads and milk-fat blends that is nearly 34% less than the similar indicators of the previous year.
