UCAB participated in working meeting on agricultural land turnover
Meeting of the representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers dedicated to land reform was held today. The working conference was chaired by Volodymyr Hroisman, the Prime Minister of Ukraine. The meeting was attended by people's deputies, representatives of industry associations, farmers and owners of land shares.

Israel is a promising market for the Ukrainian sweets
Over the past 5 years, trade of Ukraine with Israel has declined. Thus, export to Israel reduced by 43% or USD 217.4 million. In 2016 the total value of supplies of agricultural products to Israel amounted to USD 292.8 million while in 2012 the supplies volume was USD 510.2 million. Import of agricultural products from specified country decreased comparing 2012 by 60% as well. Despite the negative tendency, trade balance remains positive - export exceeds import by USD 284.5 million (as of 2016).

May frosts put at risk harvest of fruits and berries
April-June period is important for flowering and fruit ovaries formation of the fruit trees and berries. Due to the sharp decrease in temperature on 9-11 May the process of flowering and young fruit formation occurs under difficult conditions. The air temperature in some regions, particularly in the western regions and parts of the northern regions, reduced to zero and even reached 8 degrees below zero (on the ground).
