Overview of agricultural products imported from the EU countries in January-November 2016 within the framework of Ukraine - EU FTA.

According to the State Fiscal Service, over the first eleven months of 2016 comparing to the same period in 2015, 4 % increase of export of agricultural products is observed amounting up to USD 13.6 billion as well as 11% increase of import amounting up to USD 3.5 billion.

Cattle, live

(The volume of imported products is 3.4 higher than the similar period last year).

Meat of cattle, frozen

(Lithuania is the largest importing country, with its share of 63%. In total, import grew by 34%).

Pork 

(Import of product reduced by 50%. 53% of imported pork is from Germany).

Meat and edible by-products of poultry

(Over January – November 2016 the products to the amount of more than USD 31 million were imported. Share of the main EU countries is 83%).

Dairy products

(An increase of total import of all categories of dairy products is observed. The supplies from Belgium significantly increased).

Cheese

(Imports of cheese increased by 26% compared with January-November 2015. Share of the EU countries in the structure of import increased as well, especially Poland boosted its supplies).

Vegetables

(Import of vegetables increased comparing to indices of the previous year. Share of the EU countries in the general structure of import decreased).
