Ukraine: production of groats in April decreased by 8%
In April, production of groats decreased by 8% to 22.200 tonnes, according to the operative data of the official statistics. At that, groats production increased by 23% as compared to April 2007, reported at the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
Carry-over stocks of groats products at the enterprises by the end of April decreased by 2% as compared to March and totaled 8.700 tonnes.
In total, during ten months (July-April) of 2007/08 season, Ukraine produced 230.100 tonnes of groats, down 1% as compared to the same period of 2006/07 season, according to the operative data of the official statistics.
President's decree comes into force since its publication.
