Ukraine: export prices for wheat bran continue to decrease
The Ukrainian export market of wheat bran observes tendency of decreasing of the purchasing prices, according to the data of the experts of IA "APK-Inform". This situation is caused by the seasonally low demand for this by-product from the side of the importers as well as unattractiveness of the declared by them purchasing prices.
This, in its turn, led to decreasing of the Ukrainian exporters' interest to bran purchases on the local market and low level of trading activity.
Therefore, while in the beginning of the current month the companies were ready to purchase wheat bran in pellets at the prices, reaching 920 UAH/t (CPT-port), than currently the demand prices are declared within the range 730-800 UAH/t, or 148-155 USD/t (CPT-port).
The importers' interest to purchases of this product remains at the minimal level, the demand prices on FOB terms vary mainly within the range 160-168 USD/t (June delivery).
According to the market participants, in the nearest future, they do not expect stirring up of the trading activity and development of the positive prices dynamics in this segment of the export market.
