Selling of bio-fuel in Brazil is on the record level
Demand for bio-fuel is on the peak in Brazil, what is connected with the increasing of engines with the flexible fuel system. Selling of ethanol reached the record point in 1.45 bln.l. As the Union of sugar beet processers (Industrie Unica) informed, about 54% of produced Brazilian sugar beet ia going to process for bio-fuel producing. Agra Europe London forecast in 2007/08 MY producing of ethanol on level – 18.8 bln. L. and 25.1 bln. t. of sugar. Last season Brazil processed about 425 million tones of sugarcane, from which were produced 17.7 bln. l. of ethanol and 29.8million tone s of sugar.
