Ministry of Transportation of Ukraine cut discounts for cargo transshipment in Reni port
According to the decree of Ministry of Transport and Communication of Ukraine, the basic tariffs for transit cargo transshipment in the largest port of Ukrainian Danube – Reni sea trading port – have been changed since July 20.
Accordingly, for some transit cargoes the reduction of discounts to transshipment tariffs were introduced, totaling 20-30% depending on freight nomenclature.
The decree covers almost all essential for the port transit cargo, including grain (discount reduced by 27%) and packaged chemical fertilizers (discount reduced by 14%). At that, the discount for transshipment of bulked chemical fertilizers was cancelled.
Such measures should increase the profit of the port’s work, reported Ministry.
