Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine estimates 2008/09 MY export in 17-18 mln tonnes of grain
Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine estimates export potential of Ukraine in the current marketing year (July 2008 – June 2009) at the level of 17-18 mln tonnes.
Ministry forecasted grain harvest in 2008/09 MY at the level of 50 mln tonnes, therefore grain export would total 17-18 mln tonnes, reported the source in the department on July 24. Ministry also forecasted possible wheat export at the level of 10 mln tonnes this year.
