Agro-exports in 5 years: the supplies of chocolate and cheese declined, poultry meat - increased
In 2017, Ukraine demonstrated one of the highest export figures in the history of independence - USD 17.8 bln. Prior to this, the highest exports were recorded in 2012 - USD 17.9 bln.

The rate of wheat export declined
Since the beginning of the 2017/2018 marketing year, as at January 1, wheat exports from Ukraine decreased by 800 thous. tons compared to the same period last year and amounted to 11.2 mln tons.

Leading agricultural associations of Ukraine addressed an open letter to the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko asking to protect the legitimate interests of Ukrainian agricultural producers, which were violated when Parliament adopted amendment No. 180, which cancels VAT refunds for the export of rapeseed, soybeans and sunflower.

UCAB 2017: the results of the year
In 2017, the number of UCAB members reached a record level. One of the most important indicators of UCAB work is the rapid increase in the number of members this year. For today, the Association has 105 companies, which occupy key positions in the agrarian market of Ukraine. UCAB consists of 29 agrarian holdings, which own land on area of 3.5 mln ha, that located in almost all regions of Ukraine.
